EODS key experts visit EU EOMs Jordan and Sri Lanka

The EU Election Observation Missions (EOMs) in Jordan and in Sri Lanka have been joined by two EODS key experts. Both have been working in those countries for a short period around election day, on September 2024. The EODS Social Media Coordinator, Francesca Boggeri, visited the mission in Amman, Jordan, to consolidate good practices on the observation of online election-related content in coordination with the EOM Social Media Analyst. Additionally, Francesca Boggeri provided guidance to the Media Analyst and her unit on the application of the media monitoring methodology trough an online data collecting tool for enhancing transparency and accountability. In Colombo, Sri Lanka, the EODS Team Leader, Holly Ruthrauff, provided support to the team on methodological aspects, namely on prioritizing and drafting recommendations for future electoral processes.
