EODS joins EOM Return Visit to Kenya to consider election observation follow-up practices

From 28 October – 1 November, EODS Team Leader Holly Ruthrauff went to Nairobi to join the EU EOM Kenya Return Visit, which presented the EU EOM Final Report to election stakeholders. The purpose of her visit was to consider the methodology for election observation follow-up, which begins with the return visit and includes the elaboration of a follow-up plan for implementing recommendations, together with the EU Delegation to the host country. The return visit to Kenya was well received by stakeholders who offered their views on how electoral reform could be pursued, providing a useful opportunity to consider these issues.
