Today, EEAS, FPI and EODS briefed the members of the Core team for the EU EOM to Nigeria. The Mission will be deployed early January 2019 to observe the 16 February general elections. The briefing concerned the electoral and political background for 2019 elections, the EU development cooperation, logistics and security, the cooperation with the European Parliament as well as the methodological framework for election observation.
