Advanced Training on Online Election Content

Notification

Election Observation and Democratic Support (EODS), a project funded by the European Commission, is organising an Advanced Training on Online Election Content from Tuesday 13 until Friday 16 September 2016. The training will take place at the EODS office, located at 82 Rue de la Loi, 1040 Brussels, Belgium. The duration of the training is four days and its language is English.

  • This advanced training will focus on recent methodological developments in areas of assessment for media and political analysts in EU EOM core teams, including new core team guidelines for observing online environment and election-related content, the legal framework governing the access to internet and online content for elections, content regulation, key principles and assessment methodology. The training also represents a chance for experienced observers to meet peers, deepen the knowledge and understanding of the topics covered by the course and exchange of good practices.
  • Applicants must fulfil the general and specific criteria specified in the notice to be considered for the training. Please read them here.
  • Interested individuals should directly apply online to EODS through this link: www.eods.eu/application. For a successful application, please fill-in the online form and include a CV and a motivation letter. Only online applications with the requested information and documents will be considered.

The deadline for receiving applications is 15 August 2016 at midnight (Brussels time). A selection committee will be convened within 10 days from the deadline. Candidates will be informed of their selection or non-selection shortly after by email.
